My Process
I after finding reference. I started off building the basic shapes in Maya
Then I went on to create the other shapes. I kept checking the smoothness to make sure I was getting the organic shapes I needed.
Each different texture had a different tile.
I found some textures that I ended up creating normal maps from in photo shop.
After applying the textures in substance Painter. I exported them into Maya, set up the textures and lighting. Rendering done in Arnold.
